Digitizing Only — $0.25/photo
For photos you've already sorted yourself, everything you hand us gets scanned as-is. Billed at $0.25/photo based on the actual number scanned, we'll give you an estimate at pickup using roughly 400-500 photos per standard shoebox as a guide, but your final invoice reflects the real count, not the estimate (box size and packing vary too much to bill any other way). Standard visits start at an estimated two boxes; single-box pickups instead have a $40 pickup/drop-off fee, see Service Area & Travel. We take your boxes with us to scan, no need for you to wait around. Digitized at approx. 300 DPI equivalent and delivered on a USB drive plus a private cloud link (available 90 days). Includes standard automatic cropping and color balancing, no manual editing or repair. Great for screens, digital frames, and sharing (not intended for large-format prints or professional reproduction). One week turnaround.
Photo Culling, Sorting & Digitizing — $25/box + $0.25/photo
For boxes you haven't sorted yet: we take your original boxes home to review and filter out blurs, duplicates, and damaged prints, $25/box, based on what you hand us, regardless of how much survives. You approve the final set, then it's digitized at the standard $0.25/photo rate, so you only pay to digitize what actually made the cut.
Enhancement & Restoration — +$0.75/photo
After your photos are digitized, we'll share your private cloud link so you can look through everything and pick which ones you'd like restored, no need to decide on the spot. This is an additional $0.75/photo on top of the standard digitizing rate, so a restored photo totals $1.00 ($0.25 digitizing + $0.75 restoration). Every restored photo gets AI-powered color correction and restoration (approx. 200 DPI equivalent, lower than standard digitizing since the AI process prioritizes clarity and color over fine detail, ideal for screens and digital frames). Includes cropping refinement, color and fade correction, sharpening for faces and key details, and colorization for black-and-white photos on request.
Picture Frame Add-On — +$99
A 10.1" WiFi touchscreen digital photo frame (16GB, auto-rotate, wall-mountable). Once your photos are digitized, you'll pick which ones to load from your private cloud link, no need to decide in advance. We preload your selections and it arrives ready to display. Family can send new photos to the frame remotely via the free app. Add it to any order. The perfect gift, no matter which service you choose.
Priced By Time — this work is conversational and varies session to session, so it's billed hourly rather than by box or photo.
Identification & Captioning — $45/hr
We sit with you in your home and go through your photos together, capturing who's in each one, when it was taken, where, and why it mattered. You'll receive your photos back along with a Photo Index, a simple reference document pairing every photo number to its caption, so the details never get separated from the picture again.
Story Captioning — $45/hr
For the photos that carry more than a caption. We sit with you, or the family member who remembers, and record the real story behind each photo you choose, on video. From that footage, we personally write a short narrative, a paragraph or more depending on how much they share, for each photo. Billed at the same hourly rate for the in-home session, plus one flat additional hour for the writing and printing, so a 2-hour session bills as 3 hours total. You'll receive your photos, the video recording, and a printed narrative document.

HOW WE ESTIMATE & BILL
Digitizing is billed at $0.25/photo based on the actual, confirmed number scanned, not an estimate. Box counts (roughly 400-500 photos per standard shoebox) are only used to give you a ballpark at pickup, since packing and box size vary too much to bill fairly by the box. If you'd also like Culling & Sorting, that's priced separately by the box you hand us ($25/box, based on the original collection, regardless of how much survives); once you approve the culled set, it's digitized at the same $0.25/photo rate as everything else. Enhancement & Restoration is always billed per photo, only for the images you individually select.

SERVICE AREA & TRAVEL
We serve both the San Antonio and Dallas areas. Pickup and drop-off is free within San Antonio (78253) and the Frisco / McKinney / Plano area. Outside that area, we have a mileage fee of $1.00/mile each way, up to about an hour's drive. Beyond that, we can still help, just give us a call. To keep visits efficient, standard pricing requires at least two boxes per pickup; single-box visits are welcome with a $40 pickup/drop-off fee added.
